All of which have had good runs of form beside Burnley? No easy wins in the league. We had so many chances today, so many good build up moves then shocking crosses or final ball. Its confidence. We need a win and a stable starting 11. And honestly lads, we have seen this same story time and time again and the manager goes. We bounce then we fall into this rut again. Read between ththe lines
The common denominator is the players. There are far too many freeloaders in the squad who offer nothing and are happy to pick up a good wage, say some things about Europe then turn in massively inconsistent performances. The manager has won everything there is to win, half this squad have never seen a trophy beyond the tv. The one person I have faith in at EFC is Ancelotti. That may sound naive or whatever but he is the most accomplished employee of the club. Simple as that.

Can make as many excuses as we we want really. Simple truth is his players haven’t been good enough. We’ve hardly put up a fight during the last few months. Players look gassed and clueless of ideas. His team selections and supposed tactics have been questionable. His personnel on the subs bench have been atrocious and his reluctance to give younger lads a go at the expense of him not being able to pick the same old tried and tested faces who have let us down time and time again is a joke.

Buck 100% starts and ends with him.

He’ll come under massive pressure now over the December period, but really if these players get Carlo Ancelotti fired then there’s no hope for anyone at this club.

I’ve said it time and time again. Until the likes of Pickford, Mina, Keane, Kenny, Coleman Davies, Sigurdsson etc. are out of the team and we get some players in which a actually push the first 11 then we won’t move forward. We’ll just have a worse manager than Ancelotti managing the same group of awful players that have failed three managers in a row. The best player on the pitch was Godfrey today, a recent signing who looked aggressive and hungry. If we fire another manager it just tells all those useless players that they can do the exact same thing with the next one.

Ancelotti has to outlast the crap in this squad if we ever want to progress.
Agree with this 100%. We went a goal down today after 2 minutes. Doesnt matter what formation you play, conceding a goal so quickly is reflective of a complete lack of focus from the players. We need to get through this sticky period and we need to do it fast.

Point 1. Carlo Ancelotti is no longer a world class manager he just isnt - Everton would carry on fine without him.

Point 2. How can he ever outlast a poor squad if that clown of a DOF who's added constant dross to it continues to leave us short in positions & signs even more tripe?

Had enough of the excuses with this club - bring in a nutjob manager who has this squad absolutely flogged until they can gallop like Redrum

Carlo has certainly got a few detractors on here. Some would probably sack him tomorrow, and then call for some European g bshoite to replace him as if they have a clue what they are talking about. The manager is struggling for sure. Changing him now is ludicrous.

I think his biggest mistake was to try and make us more defensive but the net effect was it hurt us more by robbing our fluidity in attack.
4-3-3 the way to go and I expect us to be a bit better.

Pickford
Iwobi Keane Godfrey Nkounkou
Doucoure Allan Gomes
James DCL Richarlison

Something like that against Chelsea please, Carlo. Currently only got Spurs opening day as a scalp, show us why you're paid 9 mil a year and win us the next one, please.
