Not for nothing but Favre is who we absolutely should have gotten in when Martinez went instead of Koeman. He was a natural progression instead of that moon headed Dutch tit's "rip it up and start from scratch" crap we got.

I keep scratching my head on why we looked better at the back playing four center half by trade and not resorting to this sooner against lesser foes.

I think Carlo has done a lot of experimenting in these positions to try and work out what is best to do in this injury crisis at full back with varying degrees of success.

Yesterday was the most successful, but it's not like there haven't been other bright moments. Iwobi at rwb has also looked good on occasion too.

It's a shame it's taken this long to find something that works, as I think we would have faired better against Leeds and United in particular if we had set up like we did yesterday.

Saying all that I hope this is the end of the 3-4-3 formation, play variations on the 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 from now on and play the strongest players available. Holgate and Godfrey have proven they are capable defenders at full back.
