If West Ham and Villa could just implode a bit for us there’s a top 7 starting to form and we’re right in the middle of it. Chelsea will come back into it you would think, and Leicester are good enough to stay in there. Carlo is steering us into European contention here as it looks as though Arsenal, Southampton, Wolves and Leeds have fallen away and would need some miracle run of form to get in the top 6. Interests of to see if Spurs stay up there if they lose Kane for a period.

Typical Everton the one season Arsenal implode kin Davey Moyes led West Spam are having a worldie of a season.

not sure if if it’s been mentioned but his lad Davide deserves a mention. He’s on set pieces and we continue to score from them & this strange 2 banks of 4 defensive system seems to work as well.
it's not only the 2 banks for defending free-kicks it's also the fact that they face the ball and they are deeper than normal which means they are attacking the ball when it arrives. It's a master-stroke defensive tactic and I'm surprised no other teams have tried it. I think it was introduced when we got done a couple of times last season from in-swinging free-kicks (branthwaite wrong side of someone if I remember correctly etc).

It's also different which helps. Commentators are still surprised when they see it because almost everyone uses the offside trap tactic meaning guys taking and attacking free kicks are used to that. It is hard to switch for one week.
