Target the winnable game would have been my approach. I dont hold out a whole lot of hope in the next 2 games. Tiredness shouldn't even be an issue for a squad without European football

Thats no different this week with the cup tie. Still amounts to 3 games in 7 days.
Tbh mate i think we can go on and on. The quality just isnt there. Couple that with a midfield slower than paint drying who just didnt fancy it either and it all spells trouble.

We put ourselves in a position where we need to take at bare minimum one of these games to keep up. Things can spiral out of control very quickly if we go on a three game skid. And remember that if we lose at Anfield, do not be surprised if that awful run extends past 3 games.

Every time we have a bad result against them our whole season goes down the drain. I’m genuinely concerned at this point. We should have taken Fulham more seriously.

Really failing to see why everyone is getting their knickers in a twist.
If any other manager had lost at home to Fulham, West Ham, Leeds and Newcastle he would be getting questioned on here.
Why this ridiculous moral high ground towards people questioning it? Or mocking them for doing so?
What are some of you actually trying to achieve?

The football is also by and large negative and turgid, are some of you denying that?
When was the last game we were impressive?
When was the last game we started on the front foot and took the game to the opposition? We even struggled with Rotherham FFS!

He doesn’t get a pass just because he’s cool, managed better teams or is one of the games greats and that’s all people are pointing out.

After Saturday the likelihood will be that we will be about 8th or 9th when we had a chance to go joint 4th last night and every time we’ve had a chance to get back in the mix we’ve bottled it and turned in a pathetic performance.

Questioning him isn’t “bed wetting” or “knee jerk”. People are reacting to what they are seeing.
There has been an improvement overall and we need to stick with him of course, but drop this ridiculous ridiculing of people questioning what’s happening.

Bit of knee jerking bed wetting going on here i see....

To be fair to @GwladysBlue here, and I’m not always, I don’t think he’s actually called for Moyes to be our next manager from what I can see. He’s just said it would be embarrassing if Moyes finished above us, which it would be.
I'm sure that's what 75% of the league thought when moyes had cash strapped sell to buy Everton finishing above them constantly.

CA like every other manager will get things wrong now and then.
I think he may still be tinkering with different formations and tactics to see what works and what doesn't.
I am sure he learns more from every game than the rest of us combined.

I have only one tiny observation that he might consider. .. that Gomes,Sigurdsson and JR should not all start together in the one team.
The lack of pace is just too much for the others to make up.

The other observation- make an effing change early. Especially when you've got a reasonably strong bench.

I think the worrying thing is, if we can't do well with Ancelotti in charge we never will.

The worrying thing is there was zero reaction after the break. Yes you can start poorly and maybe get stuck in a rut where the opposition are in control but after half time they should have totally had a different mindset. Professional pride should be enough to see we weren't humiliated by a very poor side.

If the players can use excuses such as tiredness and that isn't challenged it's a slippery slope. Let me make it clear there is no one else I would want to manage us at the moment but he has to learn from the mistakes. Leeds, West Ham, Newcastle and now Fulham have walked in and taken three points fairly comfortably, this absolutely should not be the case with how much our team cost to assemble.
