A ground we haven't won at in 22 years?
We have to win there sometime.
They`re obviously not glugging the Speialize Brau anymore, so why not ?

Quite a few of there players actually. But one who stands out for me is Henderson. A very average player in my opinion. But who has come good under Klipperty. He just does what he says on the tin. Milners carear was all but over and ahain an average footballer but good utility player. Salah hadn't exactly pulled up any trees until Klopp brought him in. Firminho was being hung out to dry by most of my RS mates look how he's improved under Klopp. Wjnaldum another. Can't think of anymore off the top of my head.Out of pure curiosity, who exactly??
That's exactly what I said. Some players will never be any good. It’s all well and good but if you have a team full of snails who don’t want to or refuse to dig deep in the trenches when we are on the back foot then what else can he do? He’s not going to suddenly turn Sigurdsson into a decent Dynamo playmaker, he’s not going to turn Andre Gomes into a quick agile defensive midfielder, he’s not gonna turn Alex Iwobi into a fast paced highly confident winger who just runs at people constantly and gets back to help out defensively when needed. This is what he’s having to work with recently due to injuries and players badly out of form.
Or Fulham.Imagine logging on and coming into the carlo thread feeling high and mighty cause we didn't beat one the best teams in the world.
Sorry mate I don't know how long you've been watching or following football. But a lot of the truly great managers did it long before Fergie. Shankly turned them from 2nd div also ranks to champions. Stein turned a gang of ale swilling Glasweigens into euro champs. Clough turned a gang of washed up journeymen into euro champs and there's more.Flatter to deceive. The only one that did it successfully was Fergie. He'd turn your Phil Neville's and John O'Sheas into title winners.
First you need character and drive to even be able to tap into that. In context to us...none of them do and it's been proved under a number of managers.

Absolutely spot on mate, but isn't that part of the managers job as well. Motervation, psychology, etc. Before my time.
But the point is the players mentality first.

There has been one game out of fifty one that ancelotti hasn’t got sigurdsson on the pitch in. He has made him captain, started him, brought him on when we’re ahead, behind, and level, and shoehorned him in in positions he clearly can’t play. The idea that he doesn’t rate him and just has his hands tied is honestly one of the weirdest arguments I’ve seen on here. He clearly really rates him, the evidence is pretty indisputable I’d have thought.
