I really disagree. We have some decent attacking pieces.

Looking at the league, plenty of games left but you’d think Spurs have more quality going forward so will overtake us.
6th is best we can hope for IMO which is well achievable from this position.

If we had the squad Mourinho has, we'd be top 3 at worst.

We have 3 very winnable games coming up, sure we might not play like 1970 Brazil, but we know how to compete.

We will see where we are. I'm not expecting 9 from 9. 7 keeps us in touching distance most likely.

We are dung going forward. Our only tactic is to get it wide to digne and hope he gets a decent cross in. We're a really hard watch.

Not sure what else we could have done tonight, other than try match up with 3 at the back. Don't think it would have made any difference.

We lacked quality and mobility and they played well. Injuries are becoming a major problem and every game we need to play more of last year's team, we are likely to drop points.

Well if course we are, but that's not what you were getting at.

With this squad it's either play as we have been with a more defensive set up and edge past teams or go gung ho and lose more games. Simple as that.

I think there are certainly middle options where we both have the ability to outplay teams like Fulham while still being able to tighten it up when needed. I also think offering a threat when we tighten up that isn't corners and long balls to DCL is achievable.

Nothing we didnt know from the other day when he mentioned recruitment in the summer. Tonight just confirmed what we knew.
Im not that fussed about tonight. As i know ancelotti knows what needs doing.
Needs to stop playing iwobi though. Fact he subs him almost every single game says a lot.

We're still kind of here. It isn't that much better this year.

It's undoubtedly better. But because of the prioritisation of midfield last summer, we had to spend 40m on that, as opposed to forwards.

We now need to reduce our reliance on James and Doucoure. That's for the summer.

We were never winning that. They’re miles better than us and will go on to be a good side. We’ve got a limited job and Ancelotti is doing a fantastic job

Problem is, more than half of our team has 0 pace. Our most creative player also has 0 pace, and while that might not be a problem for him, it sure is for the rest of these blokes. We need to seriously add someone with Douc's legs to midfield and another holding midfielder just to start off with. RB is sorely needed as well, perhaps even a LB.

And if lack of pace wasn't enough, squad depth is an even worse issue. Was looking who could Carlo bring at half time, checked the sub sheet and gave up.

Can’t even fume at that one, don’t even think we were that bad. They were better than us and we weren’t at our very best which we probably had to be. Carlo will brush it off and go again.
