No mate, hes honestly a very bad player.

Im not gonna defend Andre much, cos, well, hes not great is he? But Iwobi is possibly 1 of the worst players I've seen play football.

And I know you don't like Doucs, but he offers us more in 2minutes than Iwobi will in his whole career.
I disagree. Iwobi still shows flashes of moving the ball player when he unpins himself from the touchline and I still think given a central spot we'd see that regularly. I mean he's played centrally for us once and that is what happened so until I see it again that is where I am.

Gomes, Doucs and Allan all can't pass the ball forward. It's a problem. The midfield is not fixed and Tom Davies is freaking vital right now.

Carlo saying we are nowhere near as good as them. Basically, that means if we want champions league next season (cos we have no chance this season) we need rid of 5 maybe 6 of this starting 11. That gulf in class isn't caused by one or two players, it's more than half a team which isn't up to it. If we are serious about challenging next season, we have to sell a lot of these players, or have them no where near the squad. Simple as that.

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti, speaking to BT Sport:

They played better than us. They deserved to win. We were good defensively for 30 minutes. When they scored the game became difficult for us. They are a good team.

"Jordan did well. For the penalty he can do better but it doesn't change the performance. I think it was a penalty.

"The game that we planned was what we got for 30 minutes. We didn't have a lot of opportunities. Richarlison had a chance. But we have to be honest, we are not at the same level. We cannot play an open game against this kind of team. It was the plan to play the same way as we played against Liverpool, but against Liverpool we scored early.

"We are looking to fight for Europe. This is good for us. We will be there until the last game. We are disappointed for this defeat but no tragedy. We look to the next game.
Exactly how I feel.

Not worried in the slightest. He is getting the most he can from what we have right now.

Iwobi just isn't effective. He's a very talented player but isn't good at hurting the opponent. He doesn't get into the box or carry a threat and he lacks the discipline to play a deeper role.

I don't dislike him as a player, but I just don't know where he fits in. His skill set is mainly things that don't have any impact on a match.
Moving the ball up the field can have an impact, and I think he does have the discipline just not the experience to play deeper.

In certain games I agree on this. Against teams like Fulham I think he could have helped us, but against good teams he just doesn't impact the match.

We need midfield players who create chances and want to get into the box. The lad passes and watches far too much. Get in the box and you will get rewarded over the course of the season, but you have to want it.

We'd have been more in the game in the first half hour with him in Gomes or Sigurdsson's positions, imo. Those two do absolutely nothing to impact a match so having forward passing and carrying if that's all Iwobi gives is an improvement.

Carlo has to get more from our midfield. It is garbage and that includes when a fair few games where Allan and Doucoure played.

Back to reality, but truth be told Carlo has done well already, and has got the most out of the squad we have available. Really i think a top six finish, would make for a decent season. Tonight was just one of those nights. Onwards and upwards.

Iwobi's decision-making is abysmal.

£28 friggin million.

I agree on the point that he carries it quite well. But it's pointless cause when he does carry it he hardly ever picks the right pass.
