Hearing whispers that he will miss out again tomorrow, utter comedy club we support yano.
As in not make the squad or starting 11?

I think its a complete joke as well, £27million on a player who cant get in a team over Niasse. Fair enough the guy has saved us points, but as a striker in general he is one of the worst i'v seen.

Adaption period or not, if your not better than Niasse then you must be awful.

Comical by the club if he don't start tomorrow.

Give him 6 months to adjust to the league and county, not really expecting too much from him TBH, next season however be different.

why are be buying strikers who need time to adjust, thats the concern. If say we had lost on Wednesday and tomorrow we would be in a serious relegation battle. And you need someone who's going to score, hence why you spend 27million. Awful from the club.

If he needs time to adjust, it makes total sense to leave him on the bench, cos hes totally gonna adjust to the league while kissing pine.

Everton Comedy Club, EST 2016.

We could have just signed Charlie Austin for 2/3rds of the price of this bloke. He's not had much oppotunity of course but he musnt be showing much in training if already after 3 games the "forward position is up for grabs"

How I cant wait for Moshiri to boot out Fat boy and that Goblin Walsh in the summer for consistently pishing away his money.

This is extremely worrying, Fat Sam spends £27 mill on a centre forward who is worse than the one we have and then complains that he can't get a left back. Did Fat Sam's son broker the deal for Torsun.

Oh no lads we paid what is now an average fee in the market and we might not have unearthed the next Suarez, grab your heads before they roll off!

Honestly the negativity on here is ridiculous. Lukaku had his issues here and he went for 75 mill rising to 90. We spent 20 Mill in a sellers market in the Jan window and after 2 games in a poor team people are fuming already. Giroud a 32 year old back up striker went for 18 Mill.

The market has ballooned, a fee under 30 Mill doesn’t guarantee you anything now. With the new tv money it’s not even an issue for Moshiri. So what if he’s a perfectly decent striker who makes the overall squad stronger rather than being Messi and dragging us to the title.

Sick of every single aspect of the club being criticised immediately.

So i agree with you to a certain extent, but you used Giroud as an example, he went for 18million and could walk into nearly every team in the league.

We have paid 27 million for a guy who cant replace NIASSE.

People are not annoyed with Tosun, but the fact we have bought a striker who wont be given the game time to develop and adapt. the position we are in, we need someone who can come in and do a job asap, relegation is still an issue and there are many strikers that could come in and help us. Tosun may be that striker, give him an actual chance, like we haven't done with sandro, klassen, lookman, vlasic etc after a few games.

We need a striker bad! Sam said he would be judged on his first signings, therefore people cant moan when after 2 games that signing is being benched for one of the worse strikers in the league.

Fans have a right to say wtf is going on here.

Van Dijk got benched after 2 games. He cost 70 million. Given Tosun’s age, and his record in the CL and league then he commanded the fee we paid for him. He’s played 2 games away at Spurs and against West Brom. Maybe Allardyce just took him out of the firing line. No one is saying he’s been permanently benched. He might just take some time to settle.

I’m using Girouds price as an indicator of the market. A 32 year old sub from a team in the Europa League who had ample striking cover was priced at 18 Mill. What price did people expect for a striker who was first choice for a CL team who didn’t really want to sell him.

We buy a player, play him up front on his own, then when he hasn’t scored a hat trick in the first few games, we condemn him to the reserves as being gash.

What next take his locker off him?

Everton that.

Van Dijk didnt play due to injury concerns.

There is no firing line, iv not seen fans turn against Tosun if anything i think people want him to play so he can adapt. And i really do hope your correct, that its just a little time, as if he doesnt win back his place to Niasse, then i would be concerned. Although, after Wednesday game and how bad Niasse was, if he doesn't start then I would be worried.

And the price is the price, but if your paying that price the player should be able to start for a team for with a really weak forward line. Example, Walcott i think roughly the same age and has came straight in an as done a job for 20million.

There are forwards that for 27million could have come in and played instantly. Unfortunately, we don't have time to wait on a player to adapt, and if he needs time to adapt then play him as he cant be worse than what we have and if he is don't sign him just wait till the summer.
