You mean being a hero and the most well known player in his native Turkey? So much so that he went to watch a team that wasn’t his old team away at Burnley and they all flocked to talk to him after the game.

So in terms of ‘status’ you’d rather play a no mark Spanish kid who 18 months ago his teammates wouldn’t pass to him in youth internationals because he didn’t play for Real or Barca?

I think a lot of people have forgotten what having a striker is like when it’s not Lukaku (the most expensive Center forward of all time wasn’t he?).

We play with a fluid attack now anyway, when I was at the game last week it was clear cenk was drifting out allowed Richardlison or Walcott to cut in and even looking for Sigurdson to run off him.

3 games, 2 assists whilst we’ve played over 90 mins with 10 men is fine seeing as the team has scored 2 a game in this period.

He hasn’t exactly missed any chances either, he’s just not been given any.

What do I care if he's big in Turkey?

I've seen him play and he offers nothing as a forward who can lead the line and impose his presence on a game.

What are you even saying? Sometimes its better to keep your mouth shut, cause this status thing is probably the silliest thing Ive seen anyone say on here ever. Its just not true, in the most obvious way. Tosun is better than our other strikers, and its not a discussion, its there for all to see.

..i’m hoping we attack with pace and threat, releasing players behind the opposition back four. It’s difficult for Tosun to do that because he’s lacking those attributes. The concern is he’s not getting on the end of things because the game is happening beyond him.

If you want pace play Theo through the middle but we have zero hold up play. Not many classic number 9,s have blistering pace

He’s doing an ok job but it would be brilliant if we carried real threat in central areas of attack.

Yep and our centre forward made most of them. Mid field spend most of the game passing side ways our putting it out of play
