I notice a very big flaw in his game, as average as DCL and Niassie were they can do something Tusun cant and has never done -control the ball back to goal - turn and go past a defender - he just flicks the ball on which is useless for a lone striker...........
Also the myth of no service he could have had a hat trick yesterday as bad as we played - header big Dunc on the coaching bench could have buried that at his age even joe royle aged 70 would have put that in the corner......
Tosun may have done well in Turkish football - the Prem he will struggle.......

I think his main quality is they like him in Turkey so we might get our money back on him from that country: well some of it anyway.

Honestly, people used to give Steven Naismith dogs abuse. He's twice the player Tosun is, in almost every aspect of the game.

And now people are on DCL's back as well, as a 20 year old being asked to play on the wing, and he's still joint top scorer. But Tosun just needs time and better service. The service argument is a massive bugbear for me, because if I was a winger, I'd find it hard to provide assists for someone who just doesn't want the ball as well.

Tosun, Sigurdsson, Gueye and Pickford, can do no wrong in some people eyes, when all of them are average at best being hailed as something they are not.

The lad will work his way back into form, its in him.

More crying from the same people....oh and the standard low post count babies.

My post count is alright and I still think this from before we signed him in January;

If Tosun comes in, we still need a top striker - he doesn't have the credentials for that fee and we're not that desperate - we'll finish 7th-9th this season with or without him.

We need another striker.

He just ain’t good enough for the level we aspire to achieve.

Surely you can see that.
He wouldn’t get into any team in the top six.

Congratulations, have a cookie.

I also think we need a striker, all teams need more than 1 striker, and different types.

We do. Niasse, Calvert-Lewin. Onyekuru was expected back.

The point being, Tosun wasn't the right option in January - and still isn't now.

The point being, it's not just crying from new members who don't post much as you said.

You say "The lad will work his way back into form, its in him"

We'll see. I'm with Andy Gray in saying the lad isn't good enough. We need better. A lot better.

If he is not good enough, then neither are the other you just mentioned. He has and does perform at a higher level than all of them.

Couple of off games doesnt make him a bad player. Proper running theme with our fans this, its on every player thread.

Is right.

If anyone is in a position to be judging whether a striker is good enough for EFC - it's one of the most successful strikers, in our history.
