Well if we didnt like the manager, we would voice our displeasure at the game, I dont like the board, but complaining at the game would do FA. So I will do it here, still wont do anything, but will make me feel better.

There is a simple difference between name-calling and criticising.

Oh, and you said something about being prepared to say stuff to people's face......I presume we both go to every home match? Shouldn't be short of times or places in the next few months should we?

God, I am going to sound like a club stalwart, but for the life of me, I can't see why any forum should allow little boys and grown men behind the sanctity of their keyboards to abuse anyone.

Why should stating the obvious (you don't go round abusing people) be seen as a climbdown, especially as NSNO initilated the process. Simply seems astounding.

I'd also point out for those internet hardmen that a legal case, ironically on the sheffield Utd forum means that clubs can unmark individuals.

Or is everyone so anti the club we claim to support that building support seems like some traiterous move?

Just look how a badly moderated forum like kipper ends up. So far up its own arse its unreal.

You post on NSNO. Therefore you'll know how childlike the club hirelings have been in their "relationship" with that site's owners. I repeat, the Griffiths and Rowans of this world are not the club. They work at GP and their offices have conducted, periodically, a running battle with a forum on NSNO (registering anonymously I think I'm right in saying?) where many hold legitimate concerns about the way the club is run. You're not talking about either a) honourable people or b ) people who are worth walking half way to meet with an olive branch. All told NSNO's decision to make their statement isn't an earth shattering world event, but it does represent a sad watershed of sorts.

Sorry to keep this going, but just to respond. Yes, I go on only two forums, NSNO and GOT. I post more on GOT than NSNO. I haven't found NSNO to be bumming the club. Its more anti Kirkby than GOT any day of the week so I am not sure how that squares with anyone accusation that they've sold their soul.

Si and me will never agree on Kirkby, but fair do to the man I solute his action. I actually defy anyone to show where the difference in fourm debate has been given the fact that the new procedures were actually in place for the last two months.

No the NSNO statement is not earth shattering, that is my point. But you will need to explain what sort of watershed this is, unless you feel that they have simply become a tool of Everton because, horrors of horrors they met with them. You really do hate the custodians don't you?

Finally, there is a fine line between criticism and abuse. Nobody should be above criticism, but nobody should feel that they are abused, look at the former islamic peoples front forum. I doubt nobanybody is sad that that decrepid forum is dead.

You clearly don't like the people mentioned, but I don't recall you abusing them. We both know you wouldn't last long on this forum if you did, and I suspect that is simply what NSNO are doing, or should have already been doing with their forum, as I believe GOT is the gold standard.

I am not sure why you should feel that somehow NSNO are selling their soul to the devil. The logic escapes me.

Oh and grow up ffs. I have no desire to meet you. I would destroy you totally and I need to keep my nose clean at the moment. If things change will let you know. In the meantime, drop the internet hardman act. It doesnt wash with me.

There was no need for it, that's my point. An unnecessary self inflicted shot in the foot.

Why a watershed of sorts? Because there's no need for fan websites to have any contact with clubs. The use of club iconography and photos I can easily do without. Independence should be trumpeted. If that means having a go at certain club employees who insist on infiltrating a fan website then they get what they deserve, imo.
