Just getting confirmation through now of the first stabbing. ManU fan stabbed in the left leg by one of four suspects. I imagine there are a few press morons licking their lips in anticipation of sensationalist headlines about British Hooligans. Hopefully noone is fatally hurt.
 
The article I read mentioned ultras, but previous articles about Rome had specifically mentioned Italian ultras.
 
Barca winning 1-0, deservedly so aswell, Messi, Xavi and Iniesta are just sexy.

One thing annoying me about Barca is Sylvinho - Does he know how to pass forward?! Every single time he has the ball he passes back to the centre back, its really annoying.
 
You can see the differing attitudes of Ronaldo and Messi in this match. Ronaldo so far has been selfish on the ball and gotten no-where. He's playing like he is trying to prove something. Messi on the other hand is playing as a team.
 

Carrick has to play that long ball every time. It's clearly not working.

Henri should have scored then.
 
Deserved, Barcelonas entire team is just brilliant. Valdez, Puyol, Alves, Messi, Henry, Eto'o, Iniesta, Toure and Xavi - all just brilliant.

I was laughing at Ronaldo in the second half, like a little child who isnt getting his own way. We saw which one was the better player tonight.
 
The first goal was very important but once that went in Barca were fantastic. Deserved champions. Nice to see Iniesta given a standing ovation at the end, he really is a fantastic player.

Iniesta jumps past Kaka now as one of the top 3 in the world. Absolutely destroyed that United midfield. Made it look daft.

Rooney had a stinker aswell. Result.
 
Fergie dropped a bollock with the midfield and had Ronaldo trying to beat everyone to out do Messi and say "look at me I'm the best player in the world."

What Carrick, Anderson, Giggs were doing in that midfield, I dont know.

Barca played as a team, Messi and Iniesta were awesome.

But I will say, Utd did match Barca in spells, played some good football in places, and didnt park the bus like Chelsea did - at least they wanted to play more open.

But Barca were the better side.

And what was that? Rooney not stepping up in another high profile Final?
 
Ronaldo was also standing around shaking his head afterward prior to the trophy being awarded. He definitely acted like a spoiled brat, although to be fair there were a few calls against him that I didn't feel were correct.
