I cant see any way, logically domestic leagues could allow them to stay.

I mean it's a holy different and unfair playing field.

Just take this 1 issue (of many) by all accounts DAZN have the rights. Why are Sky/Bt/Amazon going to want to pay massive fees to those clubs, who are essentially running a parallel product aimed at taking viewers away?

Theres also fixtures issues. I really cant see leagues being able to admit players if UEFA say banned.

It is also so unpopular, and they are so loathed as a result, woe betide any clubs opposing kicking them out.

Yeah - Im with you, but i suppose there is an arguement that its an unfair playing field with CL revenue either way. but the rest of it is spot on.

I find myself thinking "what will karen brady do" for some reason (the most self-serving entity outside the 6) and I think when you look at clubs self interest, they might be quietly ok with this. More European spots (granted in a different format) available etc.

If she has a vote on let them stay (with no UEFA european football for them) or chuck em all out, she will want to keep them in and protect the tv deal as much as possible.

When Amazon or somebody pick up on the absolutely huge TV rights deal that’s going to be made up for this then it will be a goer and that will be that. I genuinely think football as we know it might be done with this and I’m usually quite a logical and rational person

I get the feeling there is more to all this yet to come out. I doubt it’s all been done in total secret either.

Maybe I think we’ll see by how big the punishments are. If it’s a slap on the wrist by way of a fine then it’s sussy as anything.

The thing is the TV contracts are the TV contracts. It isn't like these clubs leaving means the PL games don't get paid the same until the deals end.

I suspect those contracts are full of clauses. Certainly, any future contract would be hugely devalued by the absence of the teams currently placed 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th. The greed and sense of entitlement is almost laughable at this point, but I don't see any of the rump 14 PL clubs voting to kick out the renegade 6. They'll pressure UEFA to cave in a bit more and the others might well decide that their purposes are served for now.

Even if they stay in domestic league they'll likely be walloped with relegation to the lower leagues you would imagine.

Make no mistake, I'm counting down the minutes when my missus wakes up and I'll be dancing and prancing and maybe sexy chancing to tell her, her club have just sold their heart and soul (lord have mercy on the kopite ferrets) down the river.

Couldn't have cone at a better time whilst the majority of folk have gone through the worst of times as it shows these clubs up for what they are NO MARK [Poor language removed] STAINS MONEY GRABBING GREEDY KNOBHEADS.

I imagine you're advocating for a significant, material breach of contract on the part of the employer and petitioning the court for your release from the agreement.
