I know it’s been announced very late but has there been absolutely zero comment from other clubs in the leagues that these clubs are in or any current footballers playing at the top level anywhere?

They'll have been told to wait for the PL's statement. I have a feeling its all been hashed out in the background - fines and condemnation, maybe some points deductions (which don't matter as they no longer need to qualify for anything anyway)

Ultimately I don’t think the prem will have the balls to kick out these 6 clubs or deduct points from them. Plus they will lose money from sponsorship and tv deals as a result of it because those sides bring in the most money.

Someone said they have the power to force the owners to sell the team so I think they will go down that route and get rid of the owners. The only issue is if the owners refuse to sell the club then I guess they have to punish the club.

The clubs really didn’t think this through with regards to fan backlash. Should tell the fans of them clubs all they need to know. They are all too busy not wanting be be left out and thinking about £££.

I was listening to Collymore and he basically said this. It’ll be a revenue generator, games will be played around the globe to maximise the interest (Singapore, America, Australia etc) then every one in four will be at the home stadium. Each one sponsored

It's what FSG etc all want but the PL etc wouldn't let them as they are part of the Premier League product, signed up to their terms and conditions. I remember the kick off about United taking mid-season exhibition games to make money years ago.

The owners see it as a "franchise" therefore something to make money from. If someone stops them from doing that, they'll find alternatives and have done. This means they will sell the arse off the club if needs be.
