This is what will happen, people will act outraged but still go to matches... and the clubs know this.
What do they think is going to happen going forward?
Say DCL (or any other player from any other team) bangs in 30 next season and then a 'Super League' team wants to buy him.
Well we know you are getting an extra £300m so we value DCL at £150m.
Kthxbye.

They have stated they were asked and refusedCorrect - none the less; similar to other state owned clubs, their ownership will be keen to ensure they are playing the Real Madrid's and Man Uniteds of this world.
If it goes ahead, which I still dont believe is likely, their owners will be desperate to join

TBF that home leagues thing might just be a front; they’ve made all the arrangements to be kicked out already.

A pic of the trophy would be nice.
Hope it’s proper massive.
Some good clubs there. Leicester with a more recent league win than most of the 6. Villa with a European trophy. Everton with more league wins than half of them.Current premier league table:
1. Leicester - 56 (31 games)
2. West Ham - 55 (32 games)
3. Everton - 49 (31 games)
4. Leeds - 45 (31 games)
5. Aston Villa - 44 (30 games)
Looking at that, I’d say we’re in good shape to claim a champions league spot.
I'd be gutted if it happens but..... Kick them out the PL let them have some buck o'hare crap and let domestic football do what it used to do. We will finish topWe'll still finish seventh.
