This is why there should be severe punishments for this whole thing, what other club would ever want to join this league knowing they'd no longer exist after not being invited back? The only way this closed system works is by guaranteeing any club who joins it the same rights as the founders.

It just reeks of desperation. They must be losing a lot of money at the moment.

They're deluded if they think excluding the Germans and French (along with other big European sides) will end up with a bigger product than the current champions league. The fact that Arsenal and Spurs are there and the likes of Bayern Munich and Dortumnd aren't, instantly devalues the competition.

Strong action is needed immediately. Points deductions/relegations in leagues and expulsion from cup competitions needs to be issued today. The longer it is drawn out the more power to these vultures.

Only way things will change is if the fans either stay away or start interrupting games from the stands i.e sit ins.
