If the 'New Spots for Elite Clubs that failed to qualify' is a genuine adaptation to the current CL rules, why did these traitors decide to plough on with this new league?

I haven't been really since January, when we made it clear we weren't going to really go for it.

Yeah I was wondering why Dortmund was getting plaudits when they said they were in favor of the CL reform when the CL reform is basically a first step to a "S00P3R LEEG!". It guarantees spots to clubs by co-efficient regardless of where they finished. Which means those clubs are in Europe again, which, again, raises their co-efficient. It effectively becomes a closed loop.

This is true. And rubbish.

But the big kick off these clubs are having is to offset this, the CL reform is to increase the teams in the competition. Which means more money divided up.

Because UEFA distribute the money and they can't be having that.

UEFA/FIFA aren't heroes in this, they're as corrupt as they come. The clubs want that corruption all to themselves.

Still wouldn't be profitable enough for them, so basically UEFA have tried pandering to them only to be shown the finger anyway.

I thought I heard some Arsenal fans on arsenal fan tv saying that their game against Slavia Prague was the biggest game in the clubs history at the time

It's the daftest format. A 20 team league where 15 clubs remain in it every single year but 5 lucky clubs are awarded a place in it based on actual performance merit. It's like some sort of football make a wish foundation.

For what it's worth, I don't think there's any way this will go ahead and all it's going to do is give these clubs more leverage in the CL reform. They've been begging for bigger prize money for the biggest clubs for years.
