As much as I'm not a huge fan of the man, Simon Jordan is adamant this is all just bargaining and brinkmanship and a deal will be reached between clubs and UEFA.

He's usually right on this sort of thing, and I tend to agree.

Again, this isn't a good bargaining tool. I used this earlier, this is like begging your woman not to leave you. They should rip the fn bandaid off and bin these clubs out. They already have too much "power", using this is just going to give them more unless someone takes a stand.

Thing is, UEFA aren't stupid. They know they only have to negotiate with one team for this ti all fall apart. When they get Real Madrid on side, its over.
The amusing part will be seeing the other 11 left in the cold, having to come grovelling back and accepting whatever they are offered.

They shouldn't negotiate at all, they should just say fine you can have your league but you're out of everything else, they should be making examples of them not negotiating as that means they can do it all again to get a better deal in the future

Because I have supported Everton all my life. I just think this development is going to be insanely damaging to Everton and English football.
We need those clubs to maintain a great football package. We also need to maintain a functional competitive league, neither of which is possible under these plans.
