Champions League revamp

But there’s no chance the idea would have progressed this far without Liverpool, United, Real and Barca. Nobody was going to float a super league without those teams.

You could have subbed out the Italian league teams for the Germans and French, and still gone ahead.
Yes but a Super League of the RS, United, Barca, Real Madrid Chesterfield, Go Ahead Eagles and Rheims wouldn’t go well would it?

So where is the promotion/relegation with the Scotttish clubs coming into the PL? If the PL pick and choose who they want, in essence it is the same as the ESL- a cartel.

Not really, we already have had a scottish team play in english football, Gretna FC and we have an English team that plays in scottish football, Berwick Rangers. The EFL could merge with the scottish league, but it doesnt have to, just because 2 teams move from the scottish league to the English league.

If the premier league kick out 6 teams it is an unprecedented event. The remaining 14 teams would have to decide how to proceed. They could decide to just promote the top 6 from the championship, or reduce the size of the league, but the normal promotion and relegation at that point would probably not happen that year, it wouldnt make sense.
From a money perspective it would be financial Armageddon, the revenue deals that are currently in place would probably be ripped up because the TV companies would argue that they are no longer receiving the product they purchased. and the clubs would be scrambling around to find a "product" that the likes of Sky, BT and others would still pay decent money for. Like it or not, at that point adding in Rangers and Celtic to the Premier League would make financial sense for the remaining 14 teams.

Im starting to think they did not want Jose in the Super League, or Jose was generally against it, so Levy got rid. The timing is too weird as they talked about on talksport.

There's no champs league race for them, so why sack him?

Their players and fans both universally hate him

But it should. By their own laws, it should.

Don't underestimate the anger of the teams left behind, or the immediate needs of their pocketbooks. They're going to calculate if they can weather the immediate storm of clawbacks on rights payments and weigh that against their long-run interests here.

In my opinion, the six ESL teams from England are placing a very large bet that the remaining clubs can't. This only makes sense if the ESL clubs collect both revenue streams.

I can absolutely see insanity like the more well-heeled members finding ways to finance the ones that can't afford the immediate hit in order to secure their votes to give the pariahs the boot.

The breakaway clubs could easily end up running a retirement league for players that have already made their bones in international football, with no clear pathway back and player contracts that permit them to walk should those clubs decide to shutter the whole thing and try to play their way back up from the fifth tier. I assure you that if I were a player's agent, I'd insist on that language in the contract.

Which part of that post?

And honestly, I couldn't care less about Torcida view. Not a part of.

Croatian economy is the issue here, doctors don't have proper wages here, let alone footballers. It's a small country, small market, poor economy, it's natural players want to move to bigger clubs and surroundings.

As I said earlier, I'm looking at this as pure entertainment product. Like I'd watch a TV show. Same as with NBA, watch some 'big games', conference finals and grand finals from competitive standpoint (aka really wanna know who wins). Watching everything else like it's a TV show, just want to be entertained.
i think i understand were all your bitterness is coming from now,
we got shafted,so f*** everybody else!
