I don't think any of the clubs have to be honest.

Every single one of these clubs' "future fans" have been enticed by winning stuff, glory hunters basically. Bob from Malaysia isn't going to carry on supporting Liverpool if they are getting humped every week (actually not much different to this season...) when he can support Barcelona instead, and why not? It's not like he has any real attachment to them.

It’s mad really because they will support Liverpool because they are successful in their favourite league to watch. Once they are all in one league together. Why would these glory hunters pick a Liverpool instead of a Real Madrid an Barcelona. This actually a great point you make. It would just make the likes of Real an Barca bigger an the other clubs like Spurs won’t get any of the fans they are actually trying to attract.
