Its still a Champions League revamp.

I'll be shocked if anything happens at the meeting tomorrow other than pandering and small words if I was going off Parish although tbf to the slave driver he might have been keeping his powder dry.

I'm sure he was under orders not to tip the hand.

So he said what was safe to say: the owners' sincere preference collectively is to return the prodigal sons to the fold with a minimum of fuss.

Reality is that they're going to have to signal resolve pretty hard in order to accomplish that, if it can be done at all.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if a trophy is awarded after every single game to create 'drama' for dead rubbers.

Whilst everyone is enjoying riding on their high horses, any chance we can get the Champions League back on ITV like? You know seeing as greed is ruining the game and all that.

Can we get some fan ownership at clubs? we apparently matter loads now, Boris even said we are boss.

Can we take this opportunity to tell Mike Riley that he and his team of 'kin cronies are unfit for purpose?

Can we as one of the biggest and most established clubs in the country make our voice heard?

We really should be. Palace's chairman alluded to it that there are many teams around bigger than some of those in the current top 6 rich clubs and we're one of those.

That's why they thought this was a good idea. Failing to realise people don't suddenly tune in because big clubs are playing each other, they do it because knockout football is more interesting to watch.

Its beyond doubt that the Spanish and Italian clubs have been horrendously run for a number of years.

Its also beyond doubt that the English clubs, financially, are in a sounder shape.

On what planet would the English owners think getting into bed with them is even a good idea?

TBF it would be interesting to see how many of the 14 PL clubs have refinanced debt via US banks - it might conceivably make them vulnerable to pressure from the six.

It isn’t “true”, it’s your opinion. As I’ve said before when you have forgotten your medication; You struggle with the difference between “small” and “far away”
Btw. I’ll be shocked if anything happens tomorrow. This is complex. If you’re expecting it to be resolved tomorrow you will be disappointed. Again.

Completely agree - there will be a huge amount of advice and council needed before any drama will ensue. No way the PL are going to chuck them all out tomorrow, in theory it could kill the TV deal as per restart.

This will be slow and cautious and ultimately I suspect you will see a statement along the lines of....

"UEFA, FIFA, The Super league group & all domestic leagues under UEFA, have reluctantly agreed to find a solution putting football & the fans at the center in the coming year, the 2021/22 season will continue as normal, with a view to finding a resolution"
