But they could legitimately argue why should 3 prem teams not get relegated. It’s not their fault 6 from the prem have been kicked out. I can see 7th,8th,9th maybe taking it to court. I agree 6 is a better option

Aren't you glad you picked the good guys to support? I know I am. I would feel so unclean right now if I'd picked, say, Spurs.

This wouldn't be the first time the promotion/relegation numbers were fiddled with to hit a number. There's precedent.

They could sue, but they wouldn't have a leg to stand on and they'd lose, so they won't.
