I think maybe in 4 to 5 years if this nonsense takes off you might end up with English, dutch , belgian , portugese teams etc joining up , you might end up the Super league 1 and Super League 2 type of set up maybe playing at weekends with it live on Amazon or you tube , awful prospect but it could happen

I honestly think most players will be against it.

Not only have they evidently not been involved in any discussions about it but pretty much every player will have grown up as a proper football fan of whoever they support. Nobody other than the money men and weird "supporters" who don't understand football and who it won't effect in any way wants this.

Make it a bit fairer - promote the top 3, then make the 4th-9th in the Championship have a knockout playoff, the three winners of those games then play the 3 PL sides in the relegation places to determine who is in the PL next season.

Yes to a degree.

One other angle on this, but without the 6, it might be a smaller pie (say 80% of the pie) but you can get a far bigger slice without the big 6 can't you?
