Champions League revamp

I'm confused with klopp. Why he moaning about the flags outside anfield or the t-shirt. He acting like its a personal attack on him and the players. He missing the point

I suspect that, like Mourinho, this is how he manages and motivates. Us against the world.

This works fine until the players decide it's us against him.

I’m convinced Carragher is a robot. Any subject he gets asked about he just rattles off a combination of these phrases:

Liverpool football club
Jurgen Klopp won the champions league won the premier league
Hillsborough
Everton
Everton
Everton
My club Liverpool football club
18 titles 6 European cups

There will be a big hit for the first few years, but new rivalries will emerge.
Everton v Leicester will be like Utd v Arsenal back in the 90s/00s. Then say, Wolves win the league one year, pipping Leeds on the last day.

People will want to watch it.
The Championship is the fifth best attended league on the planet - with more supporters in the gate than Ligue 1. Why? Because it is massively competitive and there are some fine historic clubs in there. A truly competitive Premier League called, say, the First Division, would be more attractive than the renegade six and their fellow travelers think. And with the Death Star league eating itself when huge clubs like Man United and AC Milan finish 9th or 10th every year, their fans - fed on constant success - will soon turn sour on the concept as the former bullies become the bullied. The First Division, sponsored by, say, Canon, would soon become a viable alternative. I'd love to see a stand being taken tomorrow. It might even work out better than they think...

Who needs fans when you have 100 million teenagers desperate for validation and using mum and dad’s credit card to watch the game on their phones at school

But people wouldn’t even do that now for CL games so don’t know why they think this is any different. Would be even worse after the 3rd time you play Madrid in a season surely.

Well they’ll still want fan revenue coming in.

In the stadiums? It's nice for them, but I'm sure they'd still plough ahead with no fans. They still make bank if only the tea lady is in the stadium.

It'll end up like an NFL game at Wembley. Majority of the fans will be there to watch it as a tourist stop to say "they went to see a super League game".
