Champions League revamp

Seeing how I dislike all the teams you mentioned, hope it happens sooner, rather than later. The community based fans already got nothing to do with those teams, or have any relevance. Those clubs are global brands, and they don't really care about Mick from the docks for over a decade now. The game that you're refering to does not exist for a long time now. Corporations are already here, you already don't matter at all. And it has nothing to do with future, it's going on for some time now.
Wow, you just keep on ring-a-ding-dinging don't you, you empty little bell.

Because he supports another club that plays in red.

OK, so you would rather watch Real Madrid V Barca every week, than Everton V Real Madrid once every few years if we are lucky enough to qualify?!?!?!

You are so keen on plastic football and plastic fans and clubs that you will happily watch the demise of your own club to suit the needs to a few wealthy yanks and a billions Asian "fans"

Jesus, you are tragic

But that wasn't a closed shop, were the winners and losers are already chosen before each season began and you know on we it, or should.

@alphabet is the customer that the Super League is aiming to attract.

Someone who watches football once in a while, doesnt pay much attention to it but enjoys seeing two big name teams with high status players from time to time.

Football is inclusive. I dont think they should be 'attacked' for that.

If someone just wants to watch 'exhibition' games -- which is what this actually is about -- rather than watching a movie then thats up to them.

In the great scheme of things that voice is actually a tiny minority and certainly not something inclusive...rather selfish actually.

Good luck to them.

Starting to think Spurs being invited is a ploy to lessen votes from the 3/4

I don't think it matters on the votes does it mate? If they've broken the rules they can be kicked out regardless.

I imagine limp wristed points deduction and transfer embargo is mor likely though which is why the other 14 should make a stand / their fans refuse to go back next season.

Well this is semi closed, but yeah, I get what you're saying.

Why is your happiness connected to RM? I'd be happy to watch Everton in CL. No matter who against. And I'd rather watch RM vs Barca every week while I'm waiting for that 1 season of Everton in CL.
We, WE, Everton fans, do not want to be in the Super League. I can’t drill that into you anymore clearly.
I don't know why you can't understand the most basic thing, we, WE, Everton/Real/whichever fans don't matter for a few decades now.
Why would you get excited about a league with no jeopardy or consequences for losing?
It's same [Poor language removed] like NBA mate. Watching it for entertainment value till conference finals/Grand finals.

It's funny really. Seeing those who've let fishy russian & arab capital run their clubs, those who've let fishy arab & eastern european money fill their pockets in return for euro&world cup hosting, are now pretending to be pro football, while only thing they're pro is keeping their power & influence.

Given the total disrespect these 6 teams have shown to not only the other 14 prem teams, but to every team in the English leagues, I’ll be disappointed in any outcome which ends in them staying in our league.

- Kick them out effective immediately. You don’t get to earn another £400m per year, and make the rest of football a complete irrelevance.
- You’ve signed your 23 year deal, we’ll consider allowing you back in the English leagues in 23 years, as long as the ESL in any and all guises disappears.
- Get placed in the conference on your return and work your way back up, with strict financial rules. Let’s see who you’ve got playing for you then.

I'm not happy per se, but if SL happens, I'll watch the games there sooner than I'd watch CL. Can't remember when's the last time I got excited about CL if it wasn't a SF game.

And we'll still be challenging, maybe even qualify for CL. It's not going anywhere. I'd hardly call that 'Everton rotting'.
Apart from the odd final don't watch other teams all Everton myself. Which of the self appointed big six do you support?

I think that you are partially correct, especially for Liverpool and United. Liverpool only has 6000 local fans attending matches because of the model successive owners have followed. This isn't true for the majority of clubs in the Prem and across the other leagues. Liverpool and United are driving this because they are already lost causes - it is sad but you guys chose your path.
