I never usually pay social media, never mind Twitter, that much attention when it comes to the opinions of football 'fans'..

I must admit though.. I've seen a handful of comments from 'international reds' over the last 24 hours that have proper got my blood boiling. It's these pr*cks that represent everything wrong with the game these days. Their reaction to our statement this morning has been infuriating.

Yes, I do actually - what do they gain by inviting PSG?

They don’t need the French market (which is tiny and would be even less for this) and given Saudi-Qatari relations were in the gutter for most of the time this was being negotiated (though they are better now) there’d have been problems across the Middle East if a Qatari owned club was a member too.

Bayern could have been invited, but again they’ve got everything they need already.
I can see the argument re: PSG, but not Bayern in a million years. Especially since he claims they didn’t even SPEAK to them...

well anyway... since Perez’s lips were moving, I’m going to assume he was lying

I like my odds.

Florentine Perez says he’s trying to save football and he is “completely sure” the 6 won’t be kicked out of the European competitions. Not arrogant in any way.

Don't German clubs have can representations at board level or something similar.

Ah they don’t understand.

Football is in our roots, whether you like it or not, you’ve got grandparents, great grandparents who have attended everton, Liverpool games over the years.

We’ve been raised on it, we know about winning leagues, Relegation etc..

international fans don’t understand the british traditions of what makes Football great.

No franchises, no exclusivity, but fairness for all. The last 20-30 years are the first time that football has really been monopolised, to the sense where the same teams win, but before that everyone wins, and these international fans seem to think your Liverpool’s and Chelsea’s have a god given right to be the best, and how dare you challenge them.

Just had a little look.

The best one is a United fan saying they will still be a United fan at heart but will watch Everton instead if the super league goes ahead. Then a City fan pipes up to call them a plastic fan

Most of the terrible takes are people from Uganda that support about 8 teams.
