Champions League revamp

Not for me mate - those clubs Utd, Arsenal and RS aside are a bunch of no marks.

People think this way as they have been spoon fed Sky tv propaganda of "der big 6" when its the Rich 6 and nothing else.

Spurs, Man City and Chelsea couldn't hold a candle to the likes of Everton, Aston Villa etc historically and dont think otherwise.

If we won the league finishing above the likes of Villa, Leicester, Leeds, Wolves etc I would get smashed in town and attend the victory parade just as much as I would if we finished 1st ahead of 9th place Arsenal.
Every sane man in Liverpool would lock any female of legal age in their bedroom for the week

Such a good statement from the board, but I guess they had nothing to lose by unloading both barrels on these arrogant bells.

Usmanov and Moshiri are here to make money from a new stadium and by getting us into the CL, both of which are seriously under threat from this plan. In terms of protecting your investments, they're probably at risk of losing out the more than any other owners.

They also hate Stan Kroenke too, so it must've felt good to get a dig at him while they're at it.

Taunted earlier by a Kopite that we will have no need for a new stadium as ‘Port Vale and Grimsby don’t bring many fans. Enjoy Portman Road’.

They ended the conversation with ‘survival of the fittest has always been the way’.

I didn’t even know them, I was just stood in the queue and they saw the badge on my t-shirt.

Ashamed of nothing.

It has indeed. Supremacy will be established in a Super League just as it has been in the Premier League.

Liverpool are well down the pecking order in that list of 12 clubs, and worse if Bayern / PSG are included.

The prospect of them becoming European Champions in this format is about as real as us winning the Premier League now.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City and Man Utd aren't signing up for this to endure mediocrity year on year. They want to dominate.

If the other clubs pander to them at this PL meeting at 11am and dont call for their heads, or make some large threat then they deserve everything coming their way.

He still is he just does'nt like the CL either so wants some sort of mix between the two that is his issue.

If there was qualification based on domestic leagues and it was not a closed shop, and the money distribution was equitable, then obviously people would be reasonably supportive.

But none of those terms are currently on the table! He is arguing about a scenario that is not being put forward and I don't think the owners involved want to put it on the table either!

Currently discussing the big story of the day on Sky Sports News, Ryan Mason being appointed Tottenham caretaker manager.

I think it is more a case of he doesnt like UEFA pulling alot of the cash out of it.

It was mentioned yesterday, of the 3.5 billion generated (not sure of currency) only 2.2 billion, goes to the clubs. It is fair to challange UEFA on that.
