Exactly, if you go back through the history of football before the formation of the premier league, there were 23 different winners in 100 seasons.

Football was exciting and unpredictable. The reality is Premier League got the ball rolling, but the Champions League was when the money really started rolling, and if you weren't at the top you were not competing unfortunately.

I'd like the 6 to breakaway, just break away and don't come back so we've got a wide open league, cup and European competition.

Hopefully they go through with it, UEFA impose the ban on players participating in international games, all the big names and quality players leave, the brand and standard of football goes to the dogs, no-one watches it, and all the clubs go bust.

Then we can have a domestic league where Villa, Newcastle, Everton and West Ham are competing at the top again. I'd take it...
