Who knows whats happening. I had it that tonight he might pull the plug on it. Strange how different people have different thoughts!

All I'll say, is if these clubs are going to go, it gets cancelled within the next 24 hours. Once it goes beyond that, it looks like they are trying to re constitute it.

You'll quickly see the condemnation for these clubs go quickly now they have come back to the Sky/UEFA gravy train.

No more "come on Everton" by Gary now precious Arsenal are back onside.

If football fans of the 14 other clubs had any sense they would do what Chelsea fans did tonight once it is safe to do so.

The owners are part of the clubs, they run them, they bankroll them. The fans benefit from good decisions and investment and suffer from bad decisions, as is the way throughout the whole of football.

The integrity of the overall game in this country is more important than the feelings of Liverpool fans for a year or two.

That hands the European field to PSG and Bayern, which in turn weighs on the value of the sponsorships, the ability to attract players and the cost of doing so, which drives them further down the spiral as the red ink mounts.

Let's be direct about it - they're all afraid of becoming us, only with their wage bills. All they have to do is look at Arsenal to see that possibility quite clearly.

I think it is far more likely they roll in & bail as well now, but if they double down now, they should be chucked out tomorrow. If they hold hand up as Man City have, I dont envisage major punishments being thrown about

Yes pretty much. The only bit I would contend, is Barca don't seem as far in as Real. Laporte has already said the fans will get to vote, and they will vote not to join.

Real Madrid and Juventus seem a long way in, but behind them United and Liverpool are equally in. If anyone has underwritten promises or guarentees it is likely to be them.

I do wonder if these people, particularly Perez live in the real world.

Already posted - but BBC now reporting that it is done for the 6 UK clubs. Announcement this evening
