I truly hope the likes of PSG and the Bayern boys force UEFA to actually punish the scabs because at the moment they are just bending over .
If nothing comes of this , it's really not fair on the likes of smaller clubs who have had to deal with point reductions , forced relegations crippling embargoes and fines . Things that weren't the fans fault but happened anyway with owners walking free with a bankruptcy get out of jail free card .

Bayern have just become more influential within UEFA because of this. They'll want to protect their positions and have many times in the past complained about the disparity in finances of Premier League clubs to their own. I imagine they'll push for a punishment. I imagine it would only be a one year ban at most sadly.

If there is no or little punishment domestically then I wouldn't even be that surprised if the Super League was rolled out again within a year because these clubs seem desperate for money. It would be no going back for them this time, I imagine they'd be fairly confident of having the funds to leave their legacy leagues.

If the Premier League don't dish out punishment that hurts them, even for a couple of seasons, then it's the beginning of the end for all other Clubs in this country.

Not quite, I'm fairly sure you would still have had to have qualified for one of the 'lesser' European competitions ie Europa League or Europa Conference League, at which point you would then be 'upgraded' to the Champions League. So finishing 9th would mean you'd miss out, regardless of your coefficient.

That would still be a very unfair advantage. It would only exist because they know these 6 clubs are highly unlikely to finish outside of the top 6. It’s disgusting.

Great news though to start the day. Still think these clubs need punishing hard.

The coefficients are whatever they want them to be though. So the fact that they’ve won 6 European Cups, that on its own means that they’ll qualify forever no matter where they finish in the league.

No, as I said above, I'm fairly sure you still need to have finished in a Europa League or Europa Conference League spot to have any chance of being upgraded to CL based on your coefficient. Even then, if two teams across Europe who have a higher coefficient than you have also failed to qualify for a European competition, then they would get the 'coefficient' spots instead. Liverpool admittedly do have a good coefficient, but currently are only 9th in the coefficient table

Wow, this is unbelievable. Do we have a limit on position they can get in on wild card like you still have to finish top 8.
Do we always get the wild card for example Milan also finish 9th. So basically the rs will already be in the cl every season.

Until a team increases it's UEFA coefficient above them and they and the red scabs both finish out of the top 4.

They never actually left though, which I imagine is going to be quiet important if it goes to court, their lawyers will also have considered all this prior to them making the move to leave.

Relegation punishment to Juventus in 2006 , but nothing ever brought up about unfairness to their fans.
