I want creative punishments for the teams that transgressed. Instead of docking then points every one of 14 teams should select one of their players that will be required by the sky 6 to field in their starting lineup. There would be no greater repercussion for Man city than having iwobi start on the right wing against PSG , definitely dissuade them from further treachery.

Sorry but no team no matter what they've done deserve that kind of punishment.

Would like an apology from LFC to the City of Liverpool for their actions which would have endangered one of the biggest investment projects with massive employment prospects for the sake of their own avarice.

Not really, its forced, its not a real apology. In an ideal world I would like them to curl up and die of embarrassment. That's not gonna happen, so I would just like them to have 5 seasons of not winning anything and keeping their gobs shut. Equally unlikely they have too many friends in the media.

Liverpool fans can accept his apology all they like, this video statement is complete and utter BS, and he can fk off....none of these owners should be forgiven for this, and their clubs have to be punished...

Our club was punished in the 80's for the actions of another club, and we paid a big price....this may not of been hooliganism by fans, but it was reckless selfish behaviour by owners (imagine the consequences if they had pulled this off)...so punish their clubs now....points deductions for next season

Thats better than I could have put it. But its what I have concluded has to be done now.

None of this "we need their viewing figures". None of this "dont punish the fans".

Tough. They could have destroyed 100 plus years of European club football, with zero thought about it. They dont care about their own fans, let alone the clubs and fans of hundreds of other clubs.

Significant points deduction next season is the only way they will learn. Football is for everyone, not a handful of rich owners. If they dont get that, then get out.

As crap as that is, purely on this issue, without the government backing, the FA's threat wouldn't have worked as well as it did.
