What difference would that make?

Their fans showed up to Elland road to protest their too. They still shat it and didn't put the t shirts on and waited another day until it was sorted for Captain Fantastic to put his tweet out.
Zero respect for any footballer who decided to tweet or put a statement out when the thing had already died . They done it because if it went through they would of been trudging along with it without a care in the world.

The fans I’m talking about. They would’ve wanted to do what the Chelsea fans did last night.

They thrive on attention
Oh absolutely.

They did a fair part though. I do credit their supporters but I won't let them think they saved football. They were a big part of what gave these clubs confidence they could get away with it.

Every non match going supporter who buys a shirt and a Sky subscription and supports Liverpool or Utd from Lincoln or London.

UEFA won't do it because they need their revenue.

Champs League, the Premier League, La Liga and whatever Serie A is called now (Calcio?) are all absolutely pathetic. No more self respect than the cuckold who welcomes back their spouse with open arms after they slept with half the town.

I have some small hope the Premier League will give some sort of punishment but it is very little.

The other leagues and Uefa don't stand a chance.

The FA told them to go away and they came crawling back.

This all strikes me as a very self-serving distraction from both the broadcasters and these clubs.

The other pyramid teams should be outraged and demanding punishments. The entire blame is on the owners now and nobody wants to talk of punishing the clubs.

Strikes me as naive to think that wasn't a back up PR strategy if this blew up.
Which are side issues to the point he was making which was about fans uniting to boycott clubs and media.

Exactly why the fans of the clubs (media and non media) saying 'don't punish us' is ridiculous. It happens all the time and you don't hear a peep.

Have any of these clubs/owners/chairmen made a public apology to all of the clubs they’d disrespected over the last few days? Just seems to be a load of pandering to their fan base.

I doubt that some of them dont know what an Everton or Sheffield Utd or an Aston Villa is.

I'm just cynical about the real motivations behind this fan ownership discussion now.

Yes, it is a straw that could break the camel's back but it does a great job of changing the conversation.

I see the Glazer's apology has been released .
Another case of "I'm sorry you can't appreciate our brilliant vision " in my opinon.
A tad late too .
I'm back at work tonight , I really want to see Spur's apology . That's going to be a ton of fun.
