Honestly, if you offered me 4 wins in the FA cup for the trophy or wins against united, Fulham, City and the RS....id take the league wins.

48pts after 24 games having those 3 big games as wins...we'd be odds on for top 4 then.

Win the cup and get europa...we take a step forward...get.top 4 and its a huge leap.

If we get beat by Utd/City and RS top 4 will be gone unless Leicester some how lose 3/4 games in the same period.

An we still have City/Arsenal and Chelsea away.

We need 7 points in our next 4 games but I can see us getting 1. Not being negative but our home form not great and Fulham might cause us problems

winning a cup is a LOT better than qualifying for the champions league

We play for trophies... all the champions league does is give us the exposure and cash to purchase better players in the hope of winning a trophy

We could win them 4 league games then fail to beat Chelsea, Burnley, WBA and Palace, in fact we could easily win them and then come 5th and end up with another season of failure.

See I look at each game as an individual test, all that is at stake is the pride of winning the fixture, but when it comes to which is the more important, of course its Spurs, which is also the easier game.

By the same token mate we could beat Spurs next week and then go out to Burnley in the quarters

If we can be odds on for getting at least one game in UCL, or have something in our hands and guaranteed Europa League qualification, I know what I'd take.

No it isn't. I want to win something, getting top 4 isn't winning anything. We have been top 4 more recently than we've won a trophy. Plus, we all know what will happen anyway. We'll get 4th, Liverpool 5th, they'll win the UCL and we'll be in Europa, with no trophy this year.

The real answer of course is, I want Everton to win the cup and get as high in eth league as is possible, winning the next 4 games goes a long way towards that.

Guaranteed 4 wins in league = minimum of 12 points from 54.

I would argue that asking for the next 4 league wins is a less ambitious target.

Sorry i miss read your post, i thought you meant one game in the UCL as in if we get at least one game in it we are guaranteed to be in the Europa at least if we lose it haha yeah sorry.

Yeah for sure top 4 isnt winning anything and with the way thigns are right now in the wider world isnt really as important as it might of been 2 years ago, no fans, no away trips, shedule nightmares, not much fun at all
