I don't need to David Beckham got MLS player of the year, he's been finished for years fella , that tell's me everything I need to know

To be fair he won the comeback player of the year, Dwayne De Rosario was the player of the year. Not that that makes things more inspiring. Must be some legs to the rumor though since it's also linked through the official site as well.

I wouldn't say Beckham is finished. He was never my favourite player, but you can't deny the technique and vision the man has. He can basically do anything with the ball, and sees things very early. In a central role, he could still hack it in alot of European Leagues.

That's an insult to Evertonian's that we sell our best players and replace them with ****e hawk's like big Denis , they then tell us the money's not gone to the banks , the day after Moyes says the money 's tight and we get linked with this fella for less than a million , I'd rather we didn't sign anyone than him , he ain't good enough for EFC , Landon Donavon is the only person playing in that MLS ****e I'd even consider and even he'd be touch and go and he'd cost ya 6 plus million

Hey!! He's better than....you!

He was one of my favourite player 's but when Arron Lennon , Sean Wright Phillips , Adam Johnson , Stewart Downing , Theo Walcott keep him out the whole England set up I'd say he's as good as , but that's my opinion , I don't think this American player is the type of player who could turn our season round , I hope Iam wrong mind due

If this was pre-accident Charlie Davies, heck why not. However post accident Charlie Davies is a gamble. The guy is lucky to be alive and he has made a great comeback, but I just don't know if he will ever get back to his previous form.

Post-accident Charlie isn't good enough, sorry to say. The track he was on would definitely gotten him interest from a club like Everton, but I don't think it's realistic at this point.

As far as the Beckham stuff, he wasn't player of the year. And while I realize Italian football isn't what it once was, if he could play for Milan last year, he can play for Everton.

Charlie Davies looked ace after leaving Hammarby, and has legs, but his ball control isn't all that. As mentioned I think it's a big gamble with his physical form, not sure he can hack it with the physical side (kind of like an american AJ).

Put the money(what money!?) to better use!

But the point being David Beckham is far better than this character anyway , I wouldn't sign Beckham now and I would be gutted if we signed this Straqualarsi Mark 2

The only good that can come from this is that Chariie Davies' calling card, at least pre-accident, was his straight line speed to get on the end of through balls and runs. Our strikers now, absent an in-form Saha, don't give us this. Not that we play such balls, mind you.
