I don't particularly see the problem with being direct, especially with the players we have. We are hardly going to go toe-to-toe with City, Arsenal, RS, etc, by playing it round are we? Our best result/performance last year had us destroy Brighton going direct, and with players like Doucoure, McNeil, Harrison, DCL, Danjuma, and potentially Dele and Gnonto, Adams makes sense to fit in with that style.

I'd hardly say he was fat either.

I’m not sure what criteria identified Gyökeres, El Bilal Toure and then went to Che Adams who we could have went for right from the off.

More likely we are out of ideas.

I think Chermiti is the alternative to Toure and i honestly don't think we were every truly convinced by Gyokeres, certainly at the price quoted, or he'd have been here.

Think he might suit a 442 system. So off the bench and needing a goal I see him being useful when we've exhausted all options playing 1 upfront at home. Take a defensive mid off and swap for Adams.

Just can't see us being anymore effective with him playing upfront on his own.
