he's shattered, put in a hell of a shift, but he was very poor i though. i mean, he was playing like a DM. rom was a threat all night when running at them i thought, but he had no support whatsoever. he'd go past a defender and have to basically stop because everyone was 20 yards behind.

Definitely, Naismith is an important player but he looks worn out and it's effecting our attack.

Lukaku can't do everything on his own, but even then he almost managed to tonight. Apart from Hazard he was the best player on the pitch IMO.

What a joke. McCarthy gets booked aswell, sound ref.

With it all happening so close to the ref I guessed it was behind him and he hadn't seen it but that is a joke and he has no comeback for not taking action on that. Means naff all to us though now.
And we now wouldn't want him suspended either since he might end up missing games against teams we want Chelsea to beat ie those we are in a relegation battle with.

Well, he did that once. I will counter that flawed observation with a factual one -- he received the ball down the left wing with 10 minutes to go and we had a 4 on 4 situation. He proceeded to pump the ball straight into Cech's hands.

First person in to help his team-mate - John Stones (not in picture)

Not slagging off Jagielka either because he was quality tonight but when this was all kicking off he's 5 yards away waiting like a good lad to speak to the ref personally lol it made me chuckle anyway when every other player was in there. Jags is the last in line of showing etiquette as a footballer ;)

Jags is the last Corinthian mate :)

The type of performance that desperate relegation threatened teams put in. Make no mistake the manager and team are in fear right now, they realise we are in a relegation scrap and hope to grind out a few results. Villa will get a new manager and will pull clear of the drop. You never know the same might be true of qpr. If we accept that palace and west Brom are safe that leaves burnley Leicester hull and sunderland as our only rivals for the drop. Leicester are probably gone but what if they sack Pearson and the new man galvanises them. Burnley hull and sunderland are all capable of stringing a few results together. We are in deep deep trouble and could go down as I can't believe the players believe in this kind of anti football.
We're ahead of Palace and West Brom yet you think they are safe but we're still in it. Accept the manager isn't going to be fired and stop being so negative.

Biggest positive of the game

<sorry gaz baz - but Roberto was never going to drop you and I want to see the McCarthy/Besic partnership just once this season>

NEA about losing in the manner we did solely because Barry is banned now. Can we appeal to get it made five games?
