I thought that last summer but it didn't materialise. You're setting yourself up for an almighty let down if you think we're going to have a positive net spend of even £10m for next season.

hah i never expect anything from this board. have a tiny hope we actually did save money from jan for better targets in the summer - but i'll just wait and see.

think they only come into effect next season (TV Rights), we'll see.

Back in the day (80s-90s), I was a forex trader and you dealt with (and always beat) banks which you knew were good operators but just lacked the 'something'...supporting Everton has evened the score!...Still love'em tho'

Barkley was shocking today. If he's stull hurt don't play him. I love the kid and he's a big part of our future, but it looks like's he has no confidence at all out there. Shocking display.

Howard made a few saves, yes, but leave it to him to mess it up again. He's always been bad on crosses into the box and not wanting to leave his line. I noticed that Ivanovic got up for the ball and may have forced Howard to stay on the line, but big Terry running at him made him piss his pants and let that goal in. And can someone explain to me how a professional football player is that bad with the ball in his feet. I counted three times he put us under pressure again with his terrible delivery.

So ends another lesson in why the so-called Big Teams are, well, so-called. Without trying in the slightest to sound bitter or angry anyone who saw this game could quite clearly see that Probert made about 8 mistakes - almost all in Chelsea's favour. He missed a good 5 clear fouls on Everton players - let's give him the benefit of doubt in a couple of occasions - and then promptly awarded Chelsea several dangerous free kicks for clear dives - and other non-misdemeanours by Everton players such as Mirallas' shoulder barge. You don't have to be bitter about losing - only the manner in which it occurred.

It's not anti-Everton, why would they be anti-Everton? Some of you are getting to sound like RS fans

When Jake what his face turns to the chelsea crowd and says something along these lines:

"hopefully this lot will have something to smile about in the second half"

You kind of feel we're just cannon fodder to them.

How on earth are people positive about next season?

What part of no money and goodbye Lukaku/Deulofeu/Traore/Barry don't you understand?

I can virtually guarantee Osman will start 25 games next season.

Traore hasnt played so no loss their, delefou looks nice but hasnt exactly been winning us many points like - and is a likely loan returnee anyways, great likelihood barry will sign on a free in the summer, and have a decent chance of buying lukaku ir a similar level player.

Dint see why your intent on seeing the neg all the time lad

Will a player of Naismith's quality ever get into a team challenging for top four. No hang on i'll answer that for you.... NO. its not that he's woeful its just that he's just not top top 4 quality and so as long as we have players like him to rely on it means we are not top 4. You need a quality front man and any team without at least 2 will struggle to win big matches..... ahhhh Fact

Chelsea seem to be doing alright mate lol

Its not rocket science, without a proven goalscorer upfront we rarely look like scoring, Need Lukaku back desperately. Still disappointed with Howard for their goal, debatable if Terry even touched it.
