How on earth are people positive about next season?

What part of no money and goodbye Lukaku/Deulofeu/Traore/Barry don't you understand?

I can virtually guarantee Osman will start 25 games next season.

Because people believe roberto when he says he has money to spend, and believe local journalists who 'suggest' it's £40m.

I'm not saying roberto is lying. I think he fully believes it.

As moyes said - he'll find out how it works at everton football club soon enough.

Football is also changing and sadly we dont have the players to change with it.

Most teams are now playing only 1 holding midfielder again and as I said, we dont have the options to change.

This is the last time im gonna say this, but the lack of a fit striker and a creative number 8 midfielder not being bought, loaned, borrowed or stolen in January has utterly screwed our entire league season, but nevermind, im sure once the warchest is opened in the Summer everything will be ALRIGHT.

A creative mid was the glaring hole all year mate, imo more important a miss than another striker for us as we dont have one injured or not in the squad

So gutted we never got anything today as the lads played well apart from Mirallas who was poor and Barkley who was shocking when he came on. Looks like it's just the cup then

Look on the bright side. Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and man City are equally as annoyed as we are. As we used to say in the casino : winners (Mourinho) are grinners, the rest say "deal".

So ends another lesson in why the so-called Big Teams are, well, so-called. Without trying in the slightest to sound bitter or angry anyone who saw this game could quite clearly see that Probert made about 8 mistakes - almost all in Chelsea's favour. He missed a good 5 clear fouls on Everton players - let's give him the benefit of doubt in a couple of occasions - and then promptly awarded Chelsea several dangerous free kicks for clear dives - and other non-misdemeanours by Everton players such as Mirallas' shoulder barge. You don't have to be bitter about losing - only the manner in which it occurred.

he had a good game leading up until the last 5 mins, but then he crumbled to be fair. the linesman was at fault for the torres dive, he surely should have seen that about 5 yards in front of him. you can see why he gave the free-kick for the goal because there was contact, it's what players do to con them.

he should have been wise enough to know 1) ramires is a well known diver and 2) he was clearly going down before the contact, same with the cahill one in the first half.

it's just typical of the standard of the refereeing in this league, none of them really know about football, they know the rules and therefore see contact and intemperate that as a foul. the FA just won't train them properly and it keeps your core teams at the top - becaus they always crumble to their cheating.

Its not rocket science, without a proven goalscorer upfront we rarely look like scoring, Need Lukaku back desperately. Still disappointed with Howard for their goal, debatable if Terry even touched it.

Not to lay blame on Howard, but he was hardly commanding that area was he, Terry was allowed to toey it in to the opposite corner

When Jake what his face turns to the chelsea crowd and says something along these lines:

"hopefully this lot will have something to smile about in the second half"

You kind of feel we're just cannon fodder to them.

So you didn't get the 'because they were rubbish and easily second best first half'? Sometimes you have to join the dots yourself.

Will a player of Naismith's quality ever get into a team challenging for top four. No hang on i'll answer that for you.... NO. its not that he's woeful its just that he's just not top top 4 quality and so as long as we have players like him to rely on it means we are not top 4. You need a quality front man and any team without at least 2 will struggle to win big matches..... ahhhh Fact

behave - he's a squad player, every team needs squad players like him who will come in and do a job.

if liverpool get top 4, they have quite a few players in their squad who are not as good as him.
