Mirallas was worse than crap today. He should have been subbed by halftime. Terrible just terrible to watch him when he isn't in the mood. Reminds me a bit when Fellaini goofed off at times for us.

Bobby likes to leave his subs late doesn't he.. shame coz I think McGeady and Deulofeu could do with getting some minutes under their belts.

Have not been so gutted about a result in a long time. Thought the football we played in the first half was as good as the stuff we played first half at the Emirates.

Final pass and finishing aside we are progressing into a really good side. Lots of work to be done in that department however. Having said that, for a team in transition with all our limitations at present it was mightily impressive.

Naismith and Osman first half were immense, thought McGeady looked good when he came on, pity it wasn't earlier. Less said about Ross the better, at the moment is it either boss or dross, and we know what it was today.

Gutted especially as I was sitting amongst my Chelsea mates - tough one to take...

Excellent until the final third again. We closed them down, defended and moved the ball well but Cech only had one save to make. It doesn't help that Lukaku and Traore were unavailable but our decision-making, finishing and movement could be better.

Still, we've gone to Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs and bossed them all. If we can somehow find more of a killer instinct next season I see no reason why we can't push into the top 4.

I know what you're saying but we should expect to go there and have more possession. We are a possession team. Chelsea are not

Essentially we just need a creative midfielder and a lad to put it in the back of the net. The rest of our team is sound. Unfortunately these two players are the most expensive.

The most impressive thing for me was how quickly we won the ball back and we denied the likes of Hazard the opportunity to run at us.

We had a couple of half-chances where Osman, McCarthy and Mirallas found themselves in acres of space on the edge of their box. Someone like Lampard or Gerrard probably would have done more from those sort of positions.

Jags is still worrying the life out of me,positional sense is awful and keeps getting dragged out of the middle,Distin is head and shoulders above him,and should be captain IMHO,so typically frustrating blues,we played great and yet we're picking the bones out of a last minute defeat, all or nothing now for us in the cup, lets grow a set and go the Emirates and WIN,and then go on and WIN the Cup,shut the kopites/media up about this 19 years lark, that would then be a great season and these type of results would be forgiven for this season,COYB!!!

Yeah, it was fantastic. If Coleman bombed forward then Jagielka was always keeping an eye out to see what Hazard was up to

I wish we had a Santi Cazorla/Mata/Hazard type who has the intelligence to know when to shoot and when to play a team mate in. As it stands Mirallas and Barkley (Osman too) are guilty of going for goal whenever they find themselves in range rather than trying to feed the ball to Lukaku for a simpler finish.
