I disagree with the performance tonight but, you're right on this temporary manager thing.
Either give him the job, or risk losing the managers currently available (which is what might be happening anyway?).
I personally don't think he's getting it permanently. I think they'd have announced it by now. Hopefully because we're talking to someone.
But, being Everton, we'll get binned off by our targets, then he'll get it full time, being the only choice...

Last 3 games vs Chelsea. Manager: Koeman.
Shots on goal: 5.

Chelsea's first team, not their League cup reserves.

Obviously, we don’t know what goes on in training. Who thinks they’re billy big bollox etc.., but that was some odd selection.

How can Mirallas & Lennon be ahead of Vlasic & Lookman?
Sigurdsson hasn’t set the world alight, but McCarthy???
Keane ditto, but I wouldn’t have dropped him for Williams.

That was a 60% reserve side. We could have done better.

Where was Vlasic tonight? He's been one of our best this season imo.

No it isn't.
I have very little time for childish insults from idiots. I thought this was a football forum for open opinions.

Me too mate. Apparently we all have to be enthused and delighted by that tonight.

Less shots than we managed against Brighton and Lyon and only one more than we managed against Arsenal.

Just as an example, we had 12 shots against Arsenal, 3 on target.

13 against Brighton, 6 on target

16 against Lyon, 5 on target.

Can you now see what I'm getting at?
Yes mate.

That you can't accept this was a good performance and a bad result and you're slowly but surely joining the bedwetters guild with this persistent wumming and judging Rhino after 90 minutes of football. Didn't think you'd ever come to that, hope you're actually WUMming.

Could've at least picked the Burnley game, when we had about 500000000 shots and 3 were on target or something daft, as the boys were shooting from anywhere.

Honestly, you can't see the improvement in any aspect whatsoever tonight?

Simply, we play against Lyon like we played second half tonight, we will beat them, thats the important goal now

That's the one for me mate, the one I've got my eye on.

Sunday will be tough, not as easy as just turning up and getting a win. A draw wouldn't be a bad result considering how crap we usually are away from home. A win would be massive. But next Thursday, what a great game that is to be Everton manager of eh, get a result there and at least it means a full house against Atalanta instead if a dead rubber in front of about 15k

Indeed.

If you are happy with that tonight. Fine.
If you are unhappy and expect better from Everton. Fine.

That is what a forum is about.

I want Everton to win every game.
Tonight was better but still ultimately not good enough. I want this club to succeed and a large overhaul of the defence and a lethal striker are needed asap or we are going nowhere positive.
