I consider people from Kirkby, Huyton and Bootle to be as Scouse as I am, but there's limits, and most people know them. 'Winsford, Cheshire' doesn't quite pass. People from Birkenhead and other places in the Wirral mix with Scousers on a regular basis, but they aren't Scousers. They have there own identity, and I'm sure there very proud of it.

Remember, "Chelsea Is Style"

What a load of ****e.

The author is some fat **** from Epsom BTW

*eyes rolly thingy face*
And once again I am reminded of how much I hate Chelsea. As for faux supporters, he's got a bloody nerve- Chelski are the worst of the lot! Every time I've been there the predominant languages around me are not even English!

Here's hoping for someone to give Terry a good kicking on Sat, my hatred of that man knows no bounds.

Would like to see Johnny given a run out if he's fit again. And more time to Vellios.

(also, thanks to those who mentioned it would be on Fox Soccer here in the USA, I'm all primed to get down to some ropey Ale House on Sat- might meet the lad I saw the other day in an Everton top in a shopping mall... )

I listened to steve Round on the radio yesterday morning, his comments were "we will be very organised and will be hard to beat".
Now i'm not a motivational speaker but the comments seem a little negative. I would have liked him to say "we have a good record against Chelsea and we will be going out to try and bring back 3 points".

I read his comments as that we will try the same tactics as against city.

Sounds like the tone of the SKY Sports programme I caught yesterday...full of: "Everton may not have a lot of money but the top teams dont like playing them and the average position of Everton over the past five seasons is 6th, and they maybe will never win anything under Kenwright but he loves Dave Hickson and Brian Labone blah, blah, blah"

If the whole club is seen as a spoiling, mediocre organisation run by a belter then it's not surprising if some no-mark number two turning up for his pay cheque reinforces that tone.

I love Big Joe but just like all these ex-players he has an eye on commercial opportunities with Everton he wont jeapordise. When he talked about winning things he looked a bit sheepish about this lot not getting a sniff. He lowered himself saying that getting to Europe three times was some sort of way of compensating for failure.
