i love big joe myself dave but its so wrong mate ,the club is a shambles mate ,kenwright will find the right buyer for everton bo////ks ,kenwright will find the right buyer for kenwright

Bluefox, he loves the club too much to sell it for less than £100M+ for the shares. Smashing blue he is.

I never get tired of saying this: Bill Kenwright is a bigger villain than John Houlding in Everton's history. No exaggeration whatsoever in sayng that.

"Chelsea are unrecognisable to the one we remember with Kerry Dixon slotting, John Bumstead scaring kids on Panini stickers and usually getting turned over by an ace Everton team. No, they’ve got a pile of that money thing we’re after and kids all over Africa wearing one of their jarg replica tops. Welcome to Soccer 2011."

Or indeed welcome to Soccer post around 1990. Since that year, Everton have finished in a higher league position than Chelsea three times - in 90/91, 91/92 and 95/96. But let's ignore that and also claim that Everton have a great record at Stamford Bridge despite not winning there in a league game since 1994/95. What a load of tripe.

Chelsea also beat Everton at Goodison the year they won the league in 84/85.....and at Stamford Bridge the following season.

YEAH BRUV U TELL EM. Chelsea CHELSEA CHELSEA, CHELSEA CHELSEA Chelsea.

Funniest moment, I was on the train back from the 0 0 coupla years ago and this Chelsea chav was doing the whole 'I'm proud be Chelsea through and through even though I'm gutted we only drew at home to Everton' thing. He started singing that by himself, and some older cockney geezer seriously, and dead proud, went 'That's right son, you sing it. You sing it laaad and praaad.'

Proper as if it was some poignant moment and everything. I cringed.

Oh and btw did anyone see me that day? I was sitting behind the goal next to the Everton fans, but in the Chelsea end. Had my Everton shirt on and started waving and got a bit of a cheer.

I had the people on the tube after the cup game last year wishing they had got a later one, I was relentless.

Was that supposed to be an amusing anecdote? Some div shouting on the tube?

No, just an amusing moment which highlighted Chelsea's cringeworthy fans.

Coming on here and honestly trying to put forward your case to suggest Chelsea have a better history than ours. Please. When I was at The Bridge everyone around me was either foreign, or silent singing wise but whinging about 'those scaaase caaants' every 5 seconds. Most of your fans have supported your team for 6 years. All you know how to do is fight. Terrible set of fans. Everton AND Liverpool eclipse you by light years.

Chelsea do have a history, a history that doesn't really add up to much until recent times. I know ours is in the past but Chelsea have a fair old bit of cotchin' up to do though before such claims can be made.

Erm....right. There are no cringeworthy knob head Everton fans then? They're all sophistocates.

I wasn't saying Chelsea have a better history than Everton was I? I'm fully aware of Everton's 9 league championships. I was challenging the claim that Chelsea have only just become better than Everton ("Welcome to Soccer 2011"). As I pointed out, Chelsea have been better than Everton for a long time so to imply it has only just happened is ludicrous. And even back in the Dixon/Bumstead era Chelsea weren't bad. I believe we did the double over Everton when they were reigning champions in 85/86 (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Yes, there are lots of tourists and silent people but that is modern football unfortunately. Back when it mattered, Chelsea had one of the more vociferous sets of supporters. I don't think you could argue with that.
