Partly, yes. We are a bigger club then both west brom and brentford I agree. And when we signed lukaku, that will have been a factor in terms of where the club could go. But already having Europe will have helped that decision also, as most players want European competition.
And again, you are missing the point about erikson. He is 29. He goes to spurs or united and gets European football in what is likely the last big contract for him.
Choosing between us and brentford is a different matter. Neither have Europe and brentford is likely to be a more desirable option for him because of the previous stated reasons.
