I dont think anybody could claim Moshiri has shown a lack of ambition.

Just a huge lack of footballing knowledge.

As I said, our stock is as low as its been for over 20 years.

We are a club that barely survived relegation, who are "potentially" getting investigated for breaking the rules.

Sure we are still a Premier League club that pays Premier League wages, but so are the other 19 teams in the league.

Frank lampard turned down a few clubs, but joined us as a club in free fall and the fans against the board. I’m not sure players will pick their next club purely on the previous season.

We have the fans, still one of the best supported clubs in the league, plenty of players will have seen what the fans did, loads of players talk about goodison being a tough ground and we can also show any player, look where we will be playing in 2yrs.

And why are we potentially getting investigated. When the premier league accepted our accounts which were signed off.

I recall at the time that Lukaku wanted to return to W Brom if he couldn’t get a game at Chelski but Mourinho pressured him into accepting our offer , insisting it would be better for him.

Not about ambition. About being realistic. In terms of football, what more can we offer over Brentford? We don't have Europe, and being realistic, we won't have Europe the following season either considering many are hoping for mid table security this season.

And then the difference between us and brentford is that he already knows their set up, has a rapport with their fans, they were the ones willing to give him a chance and seems to fit their system well.

I expect he'll take the biggest offer and longest contract from the most exciting team.

Or maybe he realised what is important and wants to play near where his family is settled (London...?).

Perhaps Brentford break their bank for him. Perhaps Utd come in and offer him a squad place.

Everton could be in the mix if they wanted but we aren't a clear first place or anything.
