Just ordered a 3 kg tin of Quality Street on amazon.de Need to stay off amazon and ebay when i have had a few too many libations.Spent about £400 in the last week lol
lol Since I retired I've gone off ebay and become a big fan of Amazon. Order it at 9pm and get it the next day with Prime. Then send it back at no cost if it turns out not to be as good as expected.

Doubtful, as there was a lot of deliberation leading up to the exchanging of the gift set.

I`d like to think @bol-uk Christmas dinner with the cast of the Greatest Show, would be more of a spontaneous thing, complete with running commentary.
The Nivea thread was like Crimbo Eastenders, even though it was crap you had to see it to find out the end

TBF Living in Greece I have to get my orders in now to guarantee getting the items before Christmas.I ordered a couple of things from UK with an ETA of between 9th of Nov and 9th of Dec.

I've read about this phenomena with Amazon Prime. Apparently, there's a lot of people who have retired and just order it willy nilly on Prime as it doesn't matter if they order it one item at a time or all at once - there's no (obvious) charge on delivery either way. They're normally at home to intercept the delivery safely so why not.

Obviously there is a cost, but Prime includes TV as well, and that means PL football now as well.

There was a time when I'd order three different, say, wireless keyboards at once, rather than one at a time. Keep the one I want and send the others back. Sometimes Amazon question it later but never at the time. The other day I wanted to return a £5 tube of paint because I'd ordered acrylic instead of gouache. If I'd have had to pay return postage (sometimes you might still have to) I would have just kept it, but they said they'd refund me without the need to send it back.

I suppose people could abuse the system but it's really like taking something back to the shop, except Amazon will always return your money, not offer a voucher.
