Cissé and restropective action

Cisse wasn't the issue, Sissoko was man of the match. They used him like a mallet to crack our very thin walnut shell. TBF McCarthy tried to put one on him but it was going to take a few swings to fell that tree.

Only silver lining is that something has actually been done, so in a round about way the FA have seen fit to acknowledge we were hard done to. Would like it to be much more than just three games banned - after all he swings his arm three times and makes contact twice.

[Having seen it a few times now and the words afterwards, it reminded me a bit of Costa getting in Coleman's face after he'd (Costa) had scored leading to Howard confronting him]

Agree we are not nasty enough on the pitch & also
make the least amount of fouls per game
we are the most fouled team
Only Burnley make less tackles per game

The reason we make the least tackles is because we are sitting off admiring the opposition's football. Too many lazy luxury players fantastic going forward pub league going back the other way.

Cisse was the best player on the pitch......we got beat by the better side, get over it...........
Indeed. It 'may' have swayed the result and contributed to the game, but equally it 'may' not have. It may have even inspired Newcastle.

We (and Martinez) need to stop blaming officials and individual elements of the match, and realise our own frailties and mistakes are the key issue.

These are the things we can and must change, not 'ifs' and 'buts' from the past.

He's unavailable for selection if at ACN so ban should apply whilst HERE.
no, he's available for selection but Newcastle will choose to release him to play in the ACN.

But then again it doesn't matter if he's 'available for selection' or not. Cleverly served his recent ban for Villa against ManU , but he couldn't have played in it anyway due to being a Utd player

I'm organising a march, who is with me?
Can i dress like a clown like the fella at the blue union?

Should have been against 9 vs City, 10 vs Stoke and Newcastle for the majority of the game.

I'm not a big fan of blaming refs for poor performances but you can't say that wouldn't have made a difference. Maybe would have got a draw at City and beat the other two.

Obviously theres other factors thats costing us games but it doesnt help when the refs against you,

we need to make a complaint with the FA

Just in the last 8-9 games we've had several clear red card decisions go against us

Or the 2 against sunderland, wickam last man and the gomez challenge

Intervention by 4th official (the same could be said for letting players back on the pitch after treatment (hasn't the ref got enough to be looking out for))?

Do something about nothing "fouls" in the penalty area - so that slight contact does not merit a penalty.

Do something about the nature of red and yellow cards - introduce an orange card (say) for bad tackles or mistimed tackles not the downright malicious stuff. If a yellow is worth one point then 3 points gets you removed (i.e. a red card). 2 yellows for nothing challenges does not mean the player is sent off and gives the manager the chance to replace the player.
