Cissé and restropective action

was bored channel hopping watching some rugby highlights yesterday and the ref stopped play for an incident where one lad elbowed another then the bloke tried to knock this lad out. Went upstairs to tv official, within a minute they were both sent off. We have longer stoppages for bloody lads rolling around because they got shoulder barged.

Just stop the game when you give a foul that looks like it may have been a bit malicious, or in the time it takes joel to set up the goal kick get this extra ref to have a look at t.v replay and buzz the ref if it needs action.

Were getting desperate now. Best just to accept how gash we are at the minute and prepare for the defeat to Hull.

Praise be to Leicester for beating Hull, because Hull can't go above us this week.

Andy Carroll, FA cup will break our hearts again.

It's not desperation it's a topical discussion. I bought it up because of how Cissé influenced the game after the assault. The fact that it was in a game against Everton is coincidental.

The rules are the rules. Nothing can be done now and rightly so, if it had happened the other way around we'd have been furious at having to play a replay or something. It's stupid.

The problem is the refusal to adopt camera tech. Within 30 seconds of that someone watching a screen could have spotted it, replayed it, told (even showed) the ref and justice would have been done. But that's not how it works in this backwards sport, so just move on, and hope that the next time we're screwed out of playing 10 men (judging by this season so far, it will be very soon!) hope that the players and managers grow a pair and cause a stink. Because we're being shafted.

Don't get me wrong,we're not helping ourselves with our performances however if these clowns do their jobs in,off the top of my head, the sunderland/city/stoke/newcastle games we are looking at another potential 8 to 9 points there and all of a sudden things don't look quite as bad league wise eh?never mind these things even themselves out I suppose..........yeah right!!

All swings and no roundabouts at the moment (as I just mentioned on Talk Sport)

Of course technology is the answer. I was just highlighting the effects of not adopting it.

You're missing the point. It's not about whether we would have won or lost, it's about how retrospective punishes a player but not the result of the game.

It's the same as players being booked for diving when they were clearly fouled, penalties given wrongly and refused when they should have been given. It's about fairness. It shouldn't be a case of swings and roundabouts, it should about getting it right in the first place. Cameras are the reason the mistakes are being highlighted so use them to stop those mistakes punishing teams unfairly.

Should be prosecuted for assault on the field of play, sent to jail then deported back to
Dakar, Senegal.

The incident was not seen by the match officials but was reviewed on match footage by a video review panel.

Absolute bollocks the ref Craig Pawson was looking right at the incident

Ferguson was prosecuted for assault on the field of play and was sentenced to 44 days in Barlinnie Prison & a 12-game ban imposed by the SFA but some of these recent incidents we are seeing are just as bad

This all day

but it won't happen... too many sky darlings might get found out

So Cisse got 3 games, but much good it does us... just like the Rodwell thing

Justice delayed is Justice denied...ever was it thus.
