It is the best thing that could have happened, Colombia is not in position right now to hold a big football tournament not only because of the social unrest but because Covid still is a big issue there and all over South America. Conmebol should suspend or postpone this year's tournament.

Colombia must win tonight’s match if we are to have a chance to qualify to the World Cup, specially since the next game is against Messi’s Argentina and at the moment we are sitting outside qualifying spots. I’m still puzzled why the match is being played so late.
