Reeves and Mortimer, when they did stand up early on in their careers. I`ve never seen anything funnier, you wanted them to stop, as your sides would be hurting that much from laughing.

Harry Hill is fantastic too.

Seen plenty of comedians over the years but rate one and hate one

Rate - Jimmy Carr. Can be belly hurting funny

Hate - Sarah Millican. 2 hr show, never smiled once

Rate - Sean Lock

Hate - Dave Spikey (awful)

Toby Foster, who played Les Campbell - the drummer of the house band, Los Alamos, in Phoenix Nights, is one of the funniest fellas I`ve seen in a small venue.

Virtually the whole cast of Phoenix Nights, did stand up after the success of the show and behind early Peter Kay he was the funniest.

Paddy McGuiness was the least funny.

Certain comedians are fantastic as hosts/guests on shows with their quick wit but then are painfully unfunny at standup for me. Best example is Lee Mack.

The newest low is the blind lad going around the world with his "funniest mates" making lame jokes about the things he can't see.

Atrocious TV..

Me and the missus have a game now. Guess the no mark presenter.

On the TV guide we see a TV title along the lines of "Great Railways of India.." Then we guess the host..

That one was Michael Portillo!! There was another one last night and the host was Sandi Toksvig...

Didn't guess either! lol

I'm still waiting to watch Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank!!

Gervais is just a bitter old man these days, I can't believe I spent years sticking up for him during The Office days

Someone posted a sketch about Ricky Gervais on this site, I think it was Stewart Lee, and it sums up Gervais to a T. I don't hate Gervais, he's an animal lover and probably an ok lad, but he isn't half annoying

Thought the same about Sean Lock as well. On shows he was one of the funniest people out there, but stand up I wasn't so keen.

Use to love Russel Howard when he hosted Good News and when he appeared as a guest on shows like Mock The Week as well, but the last 2 or 3 years he's been far too cringey and overly excited for me.
