Comedians - Rate & Hate

Someone posted a sketch about Ricky Gervais on this site, I think it was Stewart Lee, and it sums up Gervais to a T. I don't hate Gervais, he's an animal lover and probably an ok lad, but he isn't half annoying
Incredibly repetitive as well. He's one of my favourite people, never mind just one of my favourite comedians. But lately he just keeps coming out with the same stuff over and over again. After Life is a great example, it was just the same series repeated 3 times haha.

Rate: Dave chapelle, bill burr, Jimmy Carr, norm mcdonald, Greg Davies and Frankie boyle

Hate: Michael McIntyre

Edit: one more that I don't hate, and was almost going to avoid mentioning because of the sensitivity of it... but can't enjoy watching Rosie Jones. It is admirable that she does what she does but for me, comedy is all about timing and pacing and just can't get into it. Makes me feel bad for not enjoying it as well.
I'm all for inclusion but as you say Rosie Jones is an uncomfortable watch, unlike Tim Renkow .

Atrocious TV..

Me and the missus have a game now. Guess the no mark presenter.

On the TV guide we see a TV title along the lines of "Great Railways of India.." Then we guess the host..

That one was Michael Portillo!! There was another one last night and the host was Sandi Toksvig...

Didn't guess either! lol

I'm still waiting to watch Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank!!
Julie Walters did a Railway show few years back to

Rate: Dave Attell, Doug Stanhope, Richard Pryor, Sarah Silverman, Sheng Wang, Norm MacDonald, Marc Maron, Middleditch and Schwartz (their long-form improv is quite briliant), Bill Burr (sometimes), John Mulanney (sometimes)

Hate: Dane Cook, Gabriel Iglesias,

I hate talking about comedians as it seems everyone thinks everyone is crap and it annoys me.

However I will give a shout out to Mick Miller who has always been wonderful.

If you ever listen to the old XFM shows he did with Merchant and Karl Pilkington you realise a lot of his stand up and even bits from his TV shows is rehashed material from those shows.

Modern comedy isn't jokes anymore, it's pick on the audience (Paul Smith).
Jimmy Carr throws in jokes now and then.
John Bishop isn't remotely scouse or funny.
Probably because only about 3 things left they can tell jokes about.

Another hated one of mine is Eddie Izzard, majorly pi**ed off he chose Sue as his alto ego , even more annoyed that he chose to have the same bra size as me too 😠

Ricky Gervais the obvious 🐐

Cannot stand to listen to James Acaster’s voice for one second.

Uuuurrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhh

Can't listen to Rosie Jones. Her delivery is slowed because of her Cerebal Palsy. Frustrates me too much so I switch off.
